    Hey,

I have the mpeg2 encoder plugin for Nero6, the only problem being that the sound is off by around 2 sec when I eventually burn it to a dvd.

My mate tells me that mpeg2 and P4's dont go well together.

is there ANY mpeg2 encoder that does work well with P4's or work well period?!

The fact thatthe hardware is a P4 makes no difference. The P4's are generally quite good for video encoding (in speed terms).

I'd stick to using Nero for burning (it's great at that) and would use a proper mpeg2 encoding program to do the encoding. Go to www.doom9.org to read up on possibilities.

The sound issue can no doubt be easily fixed by selecting the correct delay settings for the avi interleaving.
