scart to normal ( analog ? )

is it analog ? i cant rember the propper name for it .

well i wana try and do some tv capture . but my card dosnt support scart . is there any way of converting it ? ive found a old vcr that has a scart socket and normal in and outs ill try using that but i dont think ill be able to tune it in + i dont want to have another divice under the tv would there be any other way of doing this ?

your pc prob has a phono (little round connectors usually yellow) which will take the video signal from the scart socket you can get a scart to phono lead from any half decent tv shop make sure it has a switch for in and out on it as the ones without only go one direction .what way are you goin to connect the audio or is that a problem if you card on the pc dosnt have phono audio (little round connector usually two read and white) inputs you will have to connect the audio into your sound card input and that is uaually a audio-jack connection (the same as a headphone connector).

I think you can buy SCART to s-video converter cables in most TV stores.
