    One suggestion: the charter for this board is clear that only the Chinese language is to be discussed. Chinese culture seems to be excluded. To be honest, this has made me hesitate to post in the past.

    Would it be a big change to allow cultural topics too? I don't think you can study a language without studying its surrounding culture too.

    Ha,Maybe one of us should be here 24hrs, think about chinese long long history and teh complex cultures.
