    Hi all.
just being cleaning up my hard drive and i'm wondering if there's any danger in removing the temp folder in my Local Settings. I presume this folder is where software installers put files and stuff they need for installation etc???

    cheers

Leave the folder there, just empty it. You'll prolly get an error saying that some files are in use, so you'll need to fiddle around a little with different selections to delete everying that isn't. Alternatively you could try the Disk Cleanup tool in Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools.
