This film looks really crap. In the trailer all it says it that it's the director of the fast and the furious and something else, it didn't even have a hint of a storyline.

Has anyone seen this movie yet?

Nope, nor do I intend to. A line from entertainment.ie's review:

'Torque' is action movie-making by numbers, a shambolic collection of dated stunts and idiotic characters, bound together by the flimsiest of narratives.

.. Other reviews I read were similarly full of praise. There is not a chance in hell of me seeing this when we've got "The Dreamers" and "21 Grams" on release.

I haven't seen it yet but I felt my intelligence dropping just watching the trailer.

I have to admit I liked Fast N Furious the first time I saw so I'm not totally against these no-brainer modder-movies. The problem is that once you've seen one nitrogen powered vehicle rendered in CG going 250mph you've pretty much seen them all. And it's not as if you're going to stick around for the storyline after that.

I'm not condoning making this type of movie, XXX was muck as was The Fast and the furious, BUT I hear this is at least passable entertainment.
I'll hardly pay to go and see it, but I might just take a peek.

I heard about it last year, only knew that Jay Hernandez was in the cast and planned on checking it out for that reason. However, the trailers look bad and the reviews aren't very encouraging so I think I'll give it a miss!!

Complete and utter rubbish.
Avoid like the plague.

Well it cant be as bad as Biker Boyz, can it? Watched BB last night, no real story, poor acting, poor directing and bad music.

Yeeeeaaaahhhhhh... I'm really just itching to go see this movie after saying it looks crap:rolleyes:

I guess it's just another numb-skulled action movie, but you can't really expect anything else from it.

I've seen some doozies in my time (like 'snowboard academy'), but this is by far the dumbest, poorly scripted, badly acted (note: ice cube you can do much better) the effects were terrible and didnt even border on the close to real, my 6 year old brother can play with a motor bike toy and have it do more believable yet impossible stunts. the product positioning was shameless, i thought 2 fast 2 furious was the epitamy of movies with potential gone bad, but this set a new standard in vulgar. The producer of this movie must have absolute contempt for the public, i would rather have sigourney weavers queen alien pluck every hair from my body with its second head/tongue wilst being roasted in hot oil and doused in kerosene with mad cow disease combined with the virus from '28 days later' going thru my vains than set eyes on the movie poster again, let alone see the movie again
