Seriously dude, you were probably just nervous because it was the first time with her.

Relax, take it easy, and it will be fine.

I'm not a big supporter of drink as a solution, but a couple before hand might help you chill out a bit.

Just keep it to a couple though, or you will get no where fast ;)

But, the more you worry and stress over it, the more likely you will have problems with the little general.

    Good luck

Yeah just relax, there is nothing wrong with you at all just a little nervous!!
Try some foreplay until he's good and solid!!

She's nervous to so don't worry just enjoy!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,581 ✭✭✭uberwolf

just chill, you're not entirely comfortable with her/yourself yet. This pressure you're putting on yourself prevents from getting it up. Chat it over with her - so you're both comfortable with it and so it doesn't become a problem. In the meantime stop stroking the bean.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 68,317 ✭✭✭✭seamus

As uberwolf there says, chat to her about it. Performance troubles are embarrassing, but chances are she's a lot more embarrassed about it. If you're having trouble then she thinks that you don't find her attractive enough or that she's doing something wrong. This is the way women think.

So have a chat with her and mention that you were just nervous. If you're both embarrassed about the last time, it won't make the next time any easier.

mate u dont need viagra, all u need to do is relax and make sure ye are both comfortable, and for gods sake talk to her about it as like the other posters said shes probley a bit ansious too as its your first time and first time with your girlfriend is always a bit awkward but it gets better. so hang in there:)

Take your sweet time. It is intimidating having sex for the first time. Just relax and let nature take it's course. Everything will come right in the end.

Right, well, best advice I can give is that it's gonna be crap.

Seriously...the first time, ever or with someone new, it'll be crap compared to when you get a bit of practice in. :p

The nerves come from the pressure to make it special and great and pleasurable for each other. Expectations are set too high.

Relax, talk to her, tell her your nervous, cause like everyone said, she is too.

Oh, and don't be fiddling with yourself between now and then...

Just relax, and remember, it's all hype. The first time is just that, the first time.
You'll both enjoy yourselves much more after a few months of going at it like bunnies.

right, everymorning soak your genitals in ice cold water for about 30 mins.

then in the after noon stand in your boxers infront of the oven (as you cook your food) for about 30-45mins.

then everynight place a hotwater bottle between your legs and wrap a towel around your "pee pee"

Just nerves! But now this has happened you'll be twice as nervous the next time!!!

My advice is forget about full sex and knock hell out of a bit of foreplay for a while. Then you'll be so wound up .............

um maby that could also be a problem  me thinks!

most nb thing is to overcome problem wit gf as reason is probably nerves so the closer you are the easir prob will resolve. u prob don't need medication, if you are i virgin you;re prob young, thus healthy. if after a while problem persists or condition worsens contact your gp

Let it happen more naturally. I mean you are gonna be nervous if all your thinking is "get in get out"...

Fore play..and then let if progress. Naturally.

    It'll all be worth it;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 166,026 ✭✭✭✭LegacyUser

how long did you spend on foreplay?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,967 ✭✭✭✭Zulu

unfortunatly - the more you worry about it the worse it will get. :(
    Bad news over with...
Good news, you can use this to your advantage.
She's gonna start wondering about herself, and her personal performance, so she'll try very hard to please you.
    Honesty is the best policy.
If there is somthing she does that turns you on - tell her - she'll do it more often and strive to be better at it.

There are 2 ways of looking at this...
    1) I've got a problem. (Bad approach, you'll end up giving yourself a mindf**k, and slide down a spiral, untill everytime you go for gold, you'll start worring about performance.)
    2) She really could make a little more effort ;) (this might sound bad, but it's not. She won't mind, and when she rocks your world, you'll be happy, and she be delighted thinking she's a sex goddess.)

Remember - you not a machine.

PS: Is it condoms that are interfering - or is it later in the act? A lot of people lose momentum with the introduction of a condom - best advice is to get her to apply it.

...oh and remember, Sex is a team sport.
If one player isn't performing, the team pick up the difference, otherwise the team looses!

few lines of coke and she won't know what hit her!!

try snorting off her nipple, that'll excuse you from any further foreplay

    good luck!

I doubt a sweating, overweight black man could help anyone get an erection.

    Especially now that he's dead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,581 ✭✭✭uberwolf

He'd probably have noticed if he was impotent before now when having a little self play so I reckon its safe to rule out a physical malfunction.

Just nerves mate, the more you worry about it the more likely it is to happen again. I say go with the foreplay for so long that the two of you are straining at the leash to get 'bet' into it. No probs that way.

That imagery makes me hard as nails.

    "ineedhelp", how's about this.
    Forget penetration for a while.
The two of ye set aside an evening or something, light up some candles, a feather or 4, a few packets of pop rocks and a can of whipped cream/choco sauce/syrup and basically go to town on each other orally.
Just enjoy playing with each others bodies, gently stroke and caress, massage, give back-leg-chest rubs and relax.

Sex is not defined merely by penetration.

Like walking up the garden path, it's a wasted journey if you don't take the time to smell the roses, no matter how goo that apple pie cooling on the window sill smells.

Condom is a common problem, especailly if there's a little delay - best thing is get her to do it, then it's just a continuation of foreplay
