The olmpic stadiums at the end of one of the U-Bahn lines (but still within half hour of town). Its set in a park and is itself an attraction due to its design - also its the home of Bayern Munich. Whilst your there, the BMW motor works is accross the road from the U-Bahn station theres a museum/visitor centre if yer interested in that sort of thing....plus the BMW tower building is there (you'll see it on any touristy literature on munich.
At the end of one of the S-BAhn lines (its been a few years so cant remember which but its south of the city), you will find Andechs - Andechs is famous for producing the worlds strongest beer. you can sample it yourself (bit too strong on both the taste and alcohol fronts for me though:D ).

The englischer garten runs through the city - its a wonderful resource for the locals -
Theres a beer garden in there thats quite famous...although its possible its not open yet...too early in the year?

Hmm. i suppose dachaus got to be done but you'll be on a downer after visiting that place:(

If your into museums and that sorta stuff, then you could spend hours in the Deutsche Museum.

Cant think of anything else. Have a good one and drink plenty of Paulaner.

Geiselastrasse is the entertainment centre in that town - so thats where you should be looking for in the evenings. The old airport in riem was converted into a massive party place ...its huge. Used to be great - that was then...hell for all i know it might not be there anymore! Call into one of the many irish pubs for a headz up on whats on in town and where.

Your probably thinking of berlin, Tipptop.

Eurorunners bet me to it in most respects.I can recommed some of the local foods, Ie pig, pig and more pig :).you can get weisswurst in the mornings only as it gos off very quickly, however although its nice enough, the texture aint so nice.I reccommend a pork kunckle with potato salad and a litter of beer to wash it down. You can also get mackeral on a stick, cooked over an open fire, pork ribs, and theres a damn good sushi place in the center.

Needless to say the beer rocks, no hangovers, and the helles beer has a right happy drunkness to say the least. The hoffbrau house is worth a look, tho it is a bit touristy.the best cocktails are in a place called the masters mark, tho you probably wont find it, just keep an eye out for it.

as for going out, the clubs in the inner-city tend to be expensive trendy affairs.Out side of town on the east side there is a place called Kunstpark, which houses about 27 night clubs, and is well worth a look, If your in the mood you can blag your way in to most of them for free. There is another place called the alabama which used to do free drinks all night for about 14 euro, but that was 4 years ago, and if you dont get in its a pain as its out of town and most of the clubs out there are ****e.Not many people speek english there, so Id reccomend having the basics, Like

    Bitte (bit-ah) = please.
En-shul-i-gun (spelt badly) = excuse me.
    Danka-shun = Thank you.
Spraykts u engles = That could be dutch tho it should work for do you speak english.

    Otherwise have a good time.

now trying to show u up Ajnag :)
    1. The Kunstpark is now called the Kultfabrik
    www.kultfabrik.de
    2. Alabama is still open and doing the free drinks all night promotion.was open last summer. I recall all the irish there talking about getting kicked out of the place all the time. And ordering glasses of vodka, and walking off. Just cos they were free haha
