Has anybody wrote a screenplay or wanted to write a screenplay? It's something I want to do as I have a lot of great ideas for a feature-length movie and it's something I would love to do.. It's just a matter of getting those ideas onto paper.
Are there writing workshops in Ireland for people interested in screenwriting that anybody knows about?

For all you budding Sofia Coppolas out there,
Filmbase run some scriptwriting courses for the novice.
    Full details here: Filmbase

Haven't been on any myself - the usual time, money constraints etc. but worth a look if you're interested... :)
