It does work with the Mitsubishi, but not on first attempt. Some of the codes select families. if you repeatetly press Pwr then TV it cycles through others. I think our BD was the 3rd selection.

It puzzelled me too. Read BOTH sections in the Digibox manual carefully. The Remote setup is covered twice, differently.

    The code is 0150

Press OFF / TV (3 times?) and press Select when the TV turns off.

I wrote this inside battery lid.

Also on our Black Diamond only one of the two SCARTS is RGB. Also unless whatever is plugged in is on standby (or if RGB mode exited when you press TV on its remote) the Teletext and OSD of TV channels via aerial has the RGB SCART video running in it!

A four way RGB switch box is a solution, but many only do composite or RGB on one channel!

Oddly the Philips TV codes on the old Philips VCR remote work the Mitsubishi but the Digibox remote code for the old NEI TV which worked with that, does not work the Mitsubishi.

(NEI used to owned by Philips and often are Philips designs).

Our 4:3 bd has a true 16:9 by reducing scan height as if it is a 16:9 tube, so best quality on the DVD and Satreceivers is NOT 4:3 Letterbox, but 16:9. On 4:3 material the screen jumps to full height. Correctly wired SCART cable. Digibox SCART ON and TV menu on TV set to AUTO for screen.

The hue control only works on NTSC composite via the SCART. (Some feeds via the PC Sat card or the Palcom DSL4, there are no NTSC channels on Sky).

Considering a lot of BD TV's are AFAIK manufactured by Vestel in Turkey, you could try other brands also made by Vestel, perhaps Goodmans, Alba, Bush, etc.

I realise this thread is quite out of date, but hopefully I can get some help from it.

I was recently given a Black Diamond TV, model BDS28WS. Still a good tv, decent picture etc. However the remote control was missing.

I had a One for All remote control, originally the codes didn't work, but I contacted the company and eventually got the correct code.

However, I can't get the TV to tune, or find the AV channel to bring up the UPC digital. So two questions to sum up:

    1. How do I tune the analog channels? I can bring up the tuning option but can't seem to get any button to press 'enter' to tune it.

    2. How do I bring up the A/V channel? Another button which doesn't seem to register, and there are no buttons which allow you to do anything manually.

Hopefully someone can be of help, the TV is supposed to be a tool for relaxation, not stress!

    The Sky Remote works it.

The "menu" button on front panel lets you tune.

A fully wired SCART will switch to AV, or "TV" then "help" on Sky Remote

On sky remote start at code 540 and cycle "sub code" by pressing "power" then "select" in turn till TV goes off. then I think OK or whatever the Confirm code is on a Sky remote
    (One for all is similar).

Appreciate the help, but unfortunately I've got the UPC digital (working on getting Sky but thats another story!).

    Any further ideas?

You can buy a sky remote or try that code/buttons on the One for All
