Long Play video taped audio to digital

    Hi,

    I have a long play video tape that was used to tape all the audio for a temporary radio station and I have a Digital MiniDV camera I would like to get it copied to.

    I can do this normally for ordinary videos but I can't play the video and hear the sound on this one (4 hour tape on LP). I tried the video tape on my crappy player at home and another one but I can't hear anything. I tried to download it anyway but I still don't get any sound even in the edit suite.

    Is this normal for LP video? (any ideas on video player restrictions?) Should there be something specifically I should be doing?

    Still wasn't able to solve problem directly but manged to hook video player to the computer directly and get it to digital that way.
