I took this from Digital Spy. Not sure if it is on the same EPG number in Ireland.

This morning has seen Hollywood TV become the latest channel to be added to the Sky platform.

Classic movies, entertainment and movie news, reviews, trailers, interviews and everything else related to celebrities and Hollywood will feature on the new channel.

Hollywood TV is available free-to-air and broadcasts 24 hours a day on 292 in the EPG.

Been FTA ages on either Astra19 or Hotbird13, forget which. Does a lot of interviews as well as showing the clips. Basically a DVD sales/rental advertising channel. Which is why it will be FTA on Sky..

Sky Vegas Live is meant to be coming soon too. From what I know it is basically avago from Sky. Presumably this will get 295 on the EPG. That leaves only one EPG space left before Sky have to do some sort of re-shuffle.

Wonder how they will do it.

If they stick to the same standards, the following EPG positions are also available in the entertainment section (as far as I know)...

    151
    154
    157
    160
    163
    164
    169
    172
    175
    178

...plus the ones used up by now defunct stations such as 226.

Hmm, might be worth watching from time to time though I seldom bother with channels further up the EPG. I don't see any DVD sales listed o teh EPG, though all that probably happens during the night.

A channel reshuffle has been needed for quite some time anyway.

I cannot see why the channels couldn't have started at 001 for BBC One/RTE1 etc....

This channel is run by the people who do Friendly TV,
i think its unlikely that it has been on before now.

I have never seen it in operation anywhere, but i heard something before that 001 to 100 is either being used or was planned for use with Digiboxes in Hotel rooms.

I have never stayed in a hotel room with its own Digibox but im sure some really posh ones have them.
