It was a cartoon that used to be on RTE or BBC in the early-mid 90's

It was a futuristic cowboy cartoon with a futuristic cowboy and a talking horse who had chrome-steel legs and could stand upright like a human and also had a gun as well. Ive heard that it could be called Lone Star but im not so sure. Anybody remember it? I remember seeing figures of them when they were on Tv so i presume they were mildly popular. Anybody ??????

yea it was cool enough, but afaik it went downhill after a while, its such a pity like that with western cartoons, I wish they would do full series like 26 episodes straight, with a proper plan and story and all.
Anyone remember Prince Valiant, that was a fair cool cartoon, Berserk always reminds me of it.

And actually maybe someone can help me out here, anyone remember another cartoon like back around 1990, - futuristic - good guys had a space ship with like solar sails, and the bad guys were plant like, could teleport from planet to planet in some kind of spherical base and could spawn machines out of the ground with seeds.
Damn if only i could remember the name of it.

I think it was on channel 4 origionally, god bless channel 4 back in the day.
