Good enough. Pings of about 60 ms in game around 50ms down to 30ms...

Dont go for UTV if you want to play games

Esat BT broadband is sub 20, IOL broadband will give you around 50

EsatBts business package gives pings from 14 up to about 30 to ireland/uk servers but only a lucky few can get it, 40 exchanges in this country, there pings are often lower to uk servers than dsl/cable users in the uk itself. IOL broadband gives 45+ingame which is still perfectly fine for online gaming.

Depends what server for the business connection.

    I get a ping of 9 to ireland ;)

Im assuming you mean IOL and its fairly decent. As is eircoms. Only one you wouldnt want is UTV it seems.

Link to their business dsl pricing.
Hopefully they'll be reducing the prices soon given eircoms recent reduction.

What do you think of this package? the one bundled with the phone deal for 39.99 a month.
For €25 per month, you can call any Irish fixed line local and national (32 counties) phone number for up to an hour each call as many times as you like!

That sounds good to me and also calls to mobiles are cheaper than eircon too.when released will have 16gb cap

Why haven't these "bundle" pages been updated with the new prices yet? (the one you refer to was last updated on February 24th).

I presume you can bundle Advantage Plus with IOL Broadband at €33.15, and get broadband and unlimited local and national calls for almost the same price as eircom were charging for broadband on it's own last month? (€58.15 versus €54.45).
