Being shown in NUIG by the university's Computer Society and Film Society.
Room: IT125 (1st floor, IT125G is on the ground floor)
It's in the Big square Picasso-esque IT building at the back (visible from the Quincentennial bridge).
Drive down Distillery Road (by the AIB bank in Newcastle) and just keep going along the road till you find parking.

Ugh awful film, Johnny depp does the character very well but I got bored about an hour in and stopped watching because it didnt seem to be going anywhere.

Isn't that the entire point of the book (ie the lack of a point)?

Class movie, finally got it on dvd recently.
It's hilarious, provided your not looking for any kind of story.

Yes it is. It got a regular Universal region 1 release, a Criterion region 1 release and a region 2 release in Holland (RCV) and France (TF1) (both with English 5.1DD audio) and releases in Italy and Germany (I can't find prices for the German or Italian releases but the German disc was released by BMG and the Italian one by Cecchi Gori)

DVDSoon have the regular R1 for €12.40 direct to your door (or another door of your choosing). DVD Pacific are cheapest for the Criterion (even allowing for shipping). DVDZone2 appear to be cheapest for both French and Dutch R2 versions. Unfortunately the French release has burnt-in French subtitles. I've no idea about the Dutch release but I assume it's the same.

This is probably one of those movies that if you're a fan you'll want the best available version. Criterion from DVDPacific might seem cheap at €25.06 including shipping at today's conversion rates then.

    damn missed it,
This a class film, gilliam is class.
So are most of his other flicks, baron munchausen, brazil, time bandits, 12 monkeys.
    Totally underated imo.
