After posting that article on Peter Kelly I got on to him to ask him did he want to do a questions and answers session with the regulars of this forum and of GayCork and he said sure.

This will work like the Slashdot Question and Answers. Posters can post all their questions in this thread and then we'll compile them, pick the best ones and email them off to Peter. Peter then will reply to them when he has a chance and will email them back and I'll post them here.

If this works well we might make it a regular thing here with various people of interest to LGB people doing the Q+A thing.

    Some facts on Peter:

Came to public attention recently when on December 30th 2003, himself and his boyfriend married in British Columbia.

FG Politician who has been a member of the Advisory Committee to the Equality Authority.

So, post your questions here. Or PM me if you wish.

Does Irish law actually, specifically, ban marriage between two consenting adults of the same sex? The Constitition does not say anything about the sex of people who marry. The marriage application forms do not. What is to prevent someone from actually getting married?

You where preiously a member of the PD's and you switched over to FG, both parties would claim to have quite different ideas how do you justify your previous political affilations and the change that you made?
