Advise needed...

Have a PC purchased from Aldi - Medion Pc and looking to add some memory to it. I am not the most technical person, but the information from the box is as follows -

256mb DDR 333mhz RAM 1 Model.

I understand the whole DDR stuff, but not sure what I should get, ie, PC2100, etc...

Can someone give me guidanance on this as I dont want to purchase and then reaslise I have purchased the wrong type of memory.

if i remember correctly -

PC2100 = 266 Mhz

PC2700 = 333 Mhz

PC3200 = 400 Mhz


after a quick check i would be right yeh [<--- edited]


what you want is PC2700

OK very easy all you need to get is PC2700 or 333Mhz the same thing Ram try crucial there the most Compatible with MB's, try komplett.ie

I got one of these machines and I may be picking your post up wrong but it is my impression that it has 512mb ram.

It has 256mb ram on the video card.
