Is there too much footie on the tv?

Next season there is 138 prem games live on sky digital with the games divided between sky sports,prem plus and 8 games on either bbc or itv(yet to be decided)
With games been played on saturdays at 1.15 and 5.30 and sunday at 4.00 plus monday at 8.00 every weekend plus us lucky irish viewers also have 15 live games on rte which will take place every second saturday with setanta sport also taking 15 games exclusive for irish viewers on a pay per view basis so dats Sat afternoon covered with 3 games live & poss 2 games on a sunday or 1 on a sunday and 1 on a mon nt!dats alot of football

Plus now sky have secured rights for 'as live' premiership games which entitles them to full match coverage of the remaining 242 games to be screened on sat nt(1 at 8.30 and the others available from 10 on skys interactive service) plus you have champions league,carling and fa cup and internationals plus the return of match of the day...im loving it

I think its time to dump the girlfriend fellas if your a big footie fan.

I cant wait til next season for this feast of footie so to some up i certaintly dont tink ders enough footie on tv...do you?

Not nearly enough, especially with the news of the SPL games all becoming PPV.

every team shud have to play on saturday AND sunday as well as 2 midweek games (1 if they have a european game) The 10 league games shud be on 2 each nite, then we can have at least a game a day -yay

the delayed coverage kind of relegates the need for a seperate club channel too

oh nearly forgot. i wish Sky would pull the finger out and show live Bundesliga games. their coverage atm is nothing more than a joke :mad: :mad:
