Ok you rocking kings out there
...just to say that the 3 master craftsmen are on their way on a 30th Anniversary Celebration Tour across the US, Canada and then finally to Europe..(at last!). The dates announced for the UK are as follows:

    Sept 8th - Wembley Arena - London.
    Sept 11th - NEC - Birmingham.
Sept 12th - Evening News Arena - Manchester.
    Sept 14th - SECC - Glasgow.

There are more dates to be announced, and a rumour about them playing the Point in Dublin, (I believe it when I see it!), anyway a total of 10 or more European dates which are yet to be finalised etc.

So if you wanna see the best musicians on one stage with light show laser show and class to match....theres the dates for ya's!....Any one that does go to see 'em,, will never feel the same way about the overated crap mediocare tripe that we get served up here year after year at outdoor venues etc!

    ciao' amigo's....Baggio....... keep on rocking!

    Hey Baggio

Glad to see someone outhere has an ear for good music!! I just got
hold of a ticket for the show in Stockholm, I was'nt aware that there
were more European dates in the pipeline. Where did you hear about
them playing the Point? Great if they did! Any info on the bust-up Alex
had with the cops? What do you make of Vapour Trails?

Hey snowdog,,,yes good to see someone has taste also!...You can get all the dates off their site: rush.com
it has a complete list of venues and dates and links to booking for each date. It seems that they have now announced all their dates, and pity but Dublin now doesn't seem to be on it, thats a shame,,,still Ill see them in London and maybe Birmingham too.
Vapour Trails?..hmm I like it, it's missing some guitar solo's sure, but when you get used to it, it's pretty strong material, I really believe it's far better than Test For Echo, which to me although I like the album, is a bit lifeless, It seems Alex left all his goood guitar work on his solo album that year and basically played what sound like minor token guitar solo's in the songs, again I do like the album overall,,,just wish it had more sparkle. Well there ya go...no news on the Alex bust up,,,hope it turns out ok for him.....

    ciao' amigo......Baggio............

Yeah I got sorted for Tickets to the Birmingham show on Sept. 11th ..... really looking forward to it ...

Any indications to Set Lists yet ? .... I'm pretty much into the older Rush stuff and kinda stopped listening to them after Power Windows (it all got a bit too 80's if you know what I mean) ..... If I had my way the entire Moving Pictures album would be on the set .. but hey , that's just me .....
