Hey, I just saw it! Were you at the 15:50 UGC showing too? Anyway, I enjoyed it. I liked the way they just threw us right into the movie, without any unnessecary tedious buildup. Quite smart - not full of tedious action setpieces like much of Hollywood's output. I wonder if the two sequels will get aired here as well?

i was a bit dissapointed by this, it was good but not as good as id heard from reviews and the like..
i found the music a little off putting too..

afaik the remake rights have been sold to brad pitt..
and there are *rumours* scorsese *might* remake it...
    either would be interesting.

and afaik there are two sequels ..both reviewed somewhere on aintitcool.com

Nah the only sequel information I know about is on IMDB - but I was afraid to look at it in case I spoilt the first one...

Im really looking forward to seeing it. Shame my local cinema which opened last week will be showing no subtitled films, or so my friend who works there informed me. I pointed out that any film not made in Ireland, financed by or starring Irish people is a foreign film

i'm looking forward to seeing it' glad it's getting good reviews i was a bit afraid that it woudn't make up to the expectations

Once you accept that it's a genre film it is enjoyable enough. I liked the contrast
between all the hi-tech tracking /spying equipment and the use of morse code
    .

Haven't gone to see this yet cause I saw an ad for in on the monitors in the UGC foyer and it was dubbed! Dubbed movies really put me off. So is it dubbed or subtitled?

The trailer I saw in UGC before Human Stain was subtitled, it'd definitely put me off if it was a dubbed version. Perhaps they are showing both...

I didn't think it looked great, in fact I thought it looked ****. I'll still go to it though, make my actual judgement then.

Well there are 3 part sequel to the movie. So there's another 2 more. This movie has been out for sometime now. I have all 3 of them on DVD, although the second DVD is a bit damaged. I agree, its really a nice movie.

I saw Internal Affairs a few years ago. Absolutely brilliant film. It totally turned me against Richard Gere though:D

Saw it last night in the IFI. Very good, but I couldn't help thinking of lots of American TV shows or movies, even though I know IA wasn't stealing from them or making any references...

24: All the tense hi tech suveillance stuff. The offices...
    Angel: The nifty time lapsing.
Face/Off: Part of the plot. Though luckily, not nearly as braindead...
