where is the irish q3 scene?

    i love quake. but its kinda **** wit 200-300 ping. thats what i would get in an english server on any game. on an irish server i would get a ping of 140-200, not perfect but a bit more playable. i know about only 2 irish q3 servers (vishnu and team.ie) but theres never anybody in there. where do you guys play your quake?

    Yeh, join #quake.ie where you can sit for hours watching all the joins, parts, and quits without a single word being said.

    Yea, but if you join #fortress.ie on the same server (Has nothing to do with Quake) but its a CRACKER. Instead of sitting in quake saying nothing, you can listen to perverted funny, twisted conversations (and the ocasional meaningful conversation) So join up.

    theres a lot more talking than playing usually. when i want a game, i'll ask someone and if nobody is around i'll play ra3, clanarena or duelling on bw and jolt servers
