Petitioning the band won't do any good. You've gotta convince a promoter there are profits guaranteed in bringing the band over here. It's not up to a band where they tour.

It's all bling bling these days :dunno:

Indeed. We need to petition to get In Flames or Sentenced here. Maybe even Morbid Angel. :dunno:

AFI are just about wrapping up touring in support of "Sing the Sorrow". I reckon you should continue with the petition, wait until they release a new album/announce a new tour and then send your results to MCD.

Sounds like a cheap way to get people's e-mail addresses to spam.

Emerald wanted to get In Flames over, but they were asking extraordinary prices as far as I've heard. So I don't expect you'll see 'em anytime soon in this country.

I suggest a counter-petition, keep that so called "band" from keeping their so called "music" from being played in our (for the most part) aurally clean country.

I try to be tolerant of other peoples music tastes but for AFI I make exception, becuase one of the guys in our house is an AFI nut, plays it all the time and it drives me insane.

TURN IT OFF. THEY'RE ****ING ****!

    **edit**
And let's get AC/DC over here. Now *that* would be a gig and a half

    woah
what an aesome idea tho, I mean we could try to organise gigs, like start off small, do some promotion-advertising get some local bands together, and if we get a good crowd we could start trying to get slightly biggerbands, maybe from england, go to the promotors and see if they could swing a gig or two or an english tour. Excellent idea. Although i dont think we would be getting aft for a while, Cool, id like to hear more ideas.

    Onwards Victory !!!!!
