Has anyone done their driving test in a goods/commercial vehicle?

    Hi,

Just want to know what the story is with doing your driving test in a goods (commercially taxed) vehicle. Do you have to bring your DoE cert to the test centre to show to the tester? Will they automatically know that commercial vehicles don't do an NCT? I'm driving a commercially taxed car-van btw that has undergone the DoE test.

You'll be grand. Just bring your cert and when they're inspecting the vehicle, just say "I have my DoE cert here if you want to check it" etc

I did mine in a Corolla van and passed it.

    Good luck.
