so Motorola tonight announced some pretty high end handsets, with Windows and Symbian based operating systems, memory expansion, Bluetooth, WiFi, 1.3 Mega pixel cameras...

there's been much rumour and speculation around the web about where Motorola are going with their Microsoft Powered mobile handsets... so today they announced two new Windows Mobile devices one based on Pocket PC and the other on Smartphone (and expect some more announcements, maybe at CeBIT...)

MPx (Windows Mobile for Pocket PC Phone Edition): tri-band GSM/GRPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, dual hinge clamshell design with integrated keyboard (allowing landscape portrait views), 1.3 mega-pixel camera, consumer IR (for universal remote), SD slot

MPx100 (Windows Mobile for Smartphone): 1.3 mega pixel camera (integrated flash), tri-band GSM-GPRS, Bluetooth, mini SD slot (another new storage format!), and an optional snap on keyboard

Although, it wasn't all Windows Mobile based devices, their A series 3G handset got a new revision.

A1000 (Symbian UIQ based device): with a 1.2 mega pixel camera, smaller and lighter design and all the enhancements the Symbian OS can offer:
