Sweet jebus what a ep

The only bad thing was you knew it was a massive reset button type ep

But by fuck who cared! the special effects where just amazeing ships loseing their Naccels ....and their bridges ships being rammed EARTH being destroyed....Crist if it was like this from the start enterprise wouldnt be in the mess it is now

And it was a good story to....shows vulcans (or some of them) may still evole into the vulcans we know from voyager ds9 and tng

    Good stuff 10/10

Meh. Poor ep imo, the previous few were far better. Any ep (in any program) that has the equivilant of 'And then i woke up. The End.' isnt worth the time spent watching it. Special effects are there to enhance a story, not substitute for one. 2/10.

When you watch star trek for years you get used to the "Giant reset button" story so it doesnt effect me anymore you expect one every year.

The story was good enough and layed to rest a few things....Like aplha century being a human colony and not its own world....Its funny as well where the last humans ended up explodes around 100 year's later (Star trek 2) nice touch.

The special effects added to the tension of the story

    So it was good :p

Just because they've done it before doesn't make it excuseable. It didn't lay anything to rest. It was an alternate universe, that was the whole idea behind what little story there was; whatever happened there didn't necessarly happen in the 'original' universe.

The only thing different about the universe was earth being destroyed....Which does not stop ceti aphla 5 explodeing or Aphla century being a human colony and not its own sperate world as what was though.

Also theirs notting different from this ep and yesterdays enterpise year of hell or other reset button shows.....their all good and the idea of a "reset button" should not destroy your enjoyment of the ep

very good episode, all the characters looked good aged, phlox looked very distinguished, t'pol looked quite cute (a little high forehead though :) ) malcolm looked good with the goatee.

anywho story wise yes very good episode, definitely thought there was some real emotion in it. effects where good and its always interesting when they can kill of all the major characters like that, i don't think the fact that there is a reset button makes it less enjoyable, its like watching an episode and knowing the major characters aren't going to die it just doesn't happen really.

also some of the best star trek eps are alternate universes and stuff so that doesn't mean anything.

also the xindi costums more or less straight form nemesis? the kinda iridescent material, also the super weapon and destruction of earth looked good.

have to say good episode, better than some of the episodes of the last 2 seasons, but unfortunately it had that seen it all before storyline

In my mind it was just the year of hell from voyager done all over again, have to say though the destruction of the earth was just gorgeous, made me nearly drop me pint while i was watching it

I Thought that episode was amazing.
Best Episode this season by far.
In Top 3 Of All Enterprise Episodes

Some excelent footage like earth and then the Tpol and her piloting skills when the Xindi ship was docked

The Earth ships had more modern phaser effects and sounds than phase cannons.

I LOVE those type of episodes, Like that TNG episode called Yesterdays Enterprise and that SG1 Episode called 2010

BTW did we hear a "OW" or a grunt comming from flox when he fell

I liked the way what was left of the humans has become very agressive with aliens like when they cought the yuridian. Why didnt the vulcans try to help out the earth colonys?

The Temperal incursion in that episode made so much more sence than any other one i have seen. In other episodes of Star Trek and other Sci Fi shows in the future People send a message back in time to there past , but then how can they have sent it if the timeline was alterd. Its all very interesting.
    I Love temperal Paradox

However in 2days episode it made PERFECT sence. There was no paradox it was just a simple temperal incursion

    A Very high 9/10

IVE BEEN TRYING TO POST THIS FOR 24 hours NTL just came back online and i have lots of posts to put in before SG1 in 15 min!

Not to walk the line here, but it was a great episode, but the reset button thing is well overused at this stage. Doesn't make it a bad ep., just a here we go again. Found the 'ol concentration drifting a bit in the middle. The Earth exploding scene was a bit cwap imo.

But but but, 2 minutes from the end the phone rang, I looked at the caller ID and realised I had to answer - picking up the phone to hear a television in the background at the other end with some soap closing music - the fookin' neck. It was the To'pol / Archer bit at the end. Although I KNOW nothing was really said, but what was said???

    Thx.

    Best episode of Enterprise, easily.

Having watched a few episodes of DS9 recently, Enterprise has paled by comparison but at least this episode represented a flash of Star Trek brilliance, the only one Enterprise has ever had.

    D.

t'pol brought archer the film he was looking forward to on a pat or something, t'pol was walking off and archer called her back to ask for a pillow, think she was going off again and he then asked her to dim the lights, she makes comment like is there anything else i can get you? generally sarcastically kinda and stuff, and he makes comment like you'd make a great nurse..

not sure if he is meant to remember anything or not but was some good general banter.
