Im not sure if this is suitable for this forum but it seems closest to the material in the rest of the post.

    Now to my question....

I work in an office, along with about 20 other people. While its not cramped its not exactly a massive work space either. Anyhoo, the management deceided to get the place repainted which is cool, during work hours which is not cool :(

Now the paints being used we are told are non toxic and water based but stink to high heaven. Only a little bit of the entrance between office main chamber and exterior has been done so far but walking through those area's is rather unpleasent. Now there is bugger all ventilation in our office due to tiny windows and the building being in a weird ass location, but they are planning on having the main office section done while we are working at our desks.

They claim the Small Firms Association say's its ok and thats that. Is there anything that can be done to make those in charge have this done at the weekend while no one is working here?

Talk to the Health and Safety Authority or if anyone is in a union, get them to talk to their rep.

    that's terrible
I would be sick as a dog, paint smells like that give me dreadful headaches and a sick feeling in my stomach, if they insist on painting while you are in the office, I'd go sick if I were you Venom

Offer to paint it yourself in the evening for a nominal fee :p

I'm sure getting the pro's in is costing them.
