Hospital Waiting Time

    A chap in Dublin receives a call from the hospital.
    It is to tell him that he can't have an appointment for a scan until August 23, 2006.
    "Will that be morning or afternoon?" he asks politely.
    "Do you really need to know just now?" asks the receptionist.
    "Well, it's just that I've got the plumber coming in the morning," he tells her
