Can anyone tell me where the opening sequence to Father Ted is shot?

A Greek colleague of mine was intrigued when they saw the boat on the beach in particular.

Anyone know where the boat on the beach is? And is it still there?

    Ta

I remember reading somewhere that most of the location work was shot in County Clare.

    http://www.feck.net/splange/ftfaq.html#location

Here's some decent enough details on some of the locations used. There's some good info on how to find the house used :)

The cinema with the mucky movie is the Ormonde in Greystones. Both the interiors and exteriors were shot there.
