Can I get Freeview in Dublin?

I have a Sky dish and decoder in my house but I have not subscribed to Sky for almost 18 months. Using the basic cable NTL package instead. So the Sky viewing card is well and truely deactivated.

Hence I am wondering if I can make use of the dish and decoder to get other Freeview channels without having to subscribe back with SKY?

    Any advice much appreciated!

    CLOPD

If you power off the box, insert your old sky card upside down and repower, you will get the default epg which will enable you to view all the BBC channels, the other free entertainment & shopping channels and all the radio stations in their EPG positions, without the need to use the add channels feature.

There are a few options for obtaining a FTV card to allow you to view ITV,CH4,&CH5 as disscussed extensively in other threads on this forum

Freeview is something else entirly, digital telly through your aerial-see the terrestrial forum for details
