ebay, a search will tell you (people are reporting up to about 100 euros now), no, well they're not illegal (the cards remain the property of SSSL and you're not supposed to take them outside the UK but none of us really care), yes they do (or at least mine has worked for nine months now), the additional channels you get are the ITV region of the person who originally got the card (other regions available through Add Channels) channel 4 and five (the BBC channels are free to air so you don't need the card but you'll get them all the same)

The legitimate source for the cards is gone.

Heh, at 275 euros I'd probably happily sell mine. Especially with the possibility of ITV going FTA over the summer. I use mine for watching the very odd show on C4 and occasionally for some strange reason when there's something on beebfour (forgetting every time that I have it in add channels anyway). ITV being a shoddy channel I pretty much never watch it.

Anyone want to offer me two hundred and seventy five shiny euro coins in a bag?

Id be prepared to put something together if others want to help out with editing/adding info

    Alternatively http://www.angelfire.com/me2/europetv/sky.html
is pretty good but needs a couple of additions such as

    The Rep of Ireland situation
Use of IRISH cards in the UK (e.g. Irish expatrs watching RTE)
Differences between P1 P2(BBC) P2(F2V) and expired sky cards
Activating cards using the "Pout method"
Using the Add channels/other channels process
    DIY (re)installatin
    Astra 2D fringe footprints
Use of sky digiboxes on satellites other than 28 deg E
Differences between FTA recieviers FTV Digiboxes CAM recievers Fun cards
Costs of a non Sky FTV system
What the phoneline is for options/costs for sky installation without same
    Activating cards outside the UK
    any more.................?

Could we also perhaps list genuine EBAY sellers who we have bought cards or stuff off that worked/delivered as promised etc etc, or would that be illegal?

EDIT This could refer to those who sell multiple cards and boxes rather than those who sell on a once off basis

I agree with you, I used to think I was missing a lot by not having UTV and Channel 4. I do like the odd ITV Drama series which TV3 dos'nt take, however I 've got used to not having it.There is so much more out there to watch if you look for it
