Anyone know of any reasonably priced packages for home broadband access in Newry ? BT have plans for the area but requires something like 500 registration of interest for each exchange before they'll get upgraded. Some of the satellite alternatives such as DigiWeb look good, but installation and rental is very expensive.

Ive heard Broadband is coming to Belcoo village (Co Fermanagh)
Given that the population of the place has a population of only 450 achieving the 500 "trigger level" must have been a neat trick ?????

Mind you there those who maintain that interesting things happen to the population figures in parts of South Fermanagh especially around election times :D

Anyway If Belcoo can pull it off Im sure Newry "city" shouldnt have too much trouble (actually I see no reason why NTL arent in there as well given that their franchise area is for the whole of NI and not just the leafier parts of Belfast and L/Derry)
