Favourite Star Wars Character?

I want to know everyone's favourite character in the Star Wars movies? The reason why i said movies is because I haven't read any of the books. Not that I don't want to read them but I don't have any time with college and stuff. I'm not doing a poll cause there are too many characters in the movies.

Luke, because he had an X-Wing, my fave ship, and a lightsabre, as well as the fact that he could use the force which rocks my socks, and the fact that he was the hero. All that and he was a nice guy as well.

1. Chewbacca - Good in a fight and doesn't get caught up in too deep meaningful stuff
2. Han - Same reasons
3. R2-D2

If you include the books, Chewie is still a great character but I'd have to include Wedge Antilles and Boba Fett.

I never really liked Boba Fett in the books/comics. Whenever I've read him in them they pass him off as a mercenary character who'll do any job for obscene amounts of money only.

Whereas when I first heard of him, he was being described as an honourable character that only took jobs that met his code of honour, and the money wasn't a big concern in the case's. This profile fit him from what i'd seen, and I loved. Then I read the books, and was severly disappointed. Oh well.

Chewbacca. I met Peter Mayhew in Hull once. He is HUGE. Pity they killed Chewie in Vector Prime. Damn them to the spice mines of kessel!!

It's Yoda for me, so small and yet so powerful, plus he's got the whole mysterious beginings going on(anyone know where he came from?Is he the last of his species?Would love to get an answer) and the way he phrases sentences is cool.

Vader is next favourite for me, he's the ultimate 'bad guy'.

Don't really buy into the Hans Solo Character.

Luke is preety cool, especially in the desert scene in Return of the jedi (is there a better luke moment?)

im excited.. i didn't know there was a star wars board, but i should have figured, theres everything round here.. um anyway...

i would have to say lukes my fav.. the way he grows from a little punk- crying to his uncle.. just to the end of "A New Hope" destroying the death star.. to finish in "Return of the Jedi" as this noble and great jedi-knight... very cool.

mmm, but they're all so great... vader and his internal conflicts throughout the films.. starting as anakin.. to this evil-(almost) machine- back to that little bit of goodness still in him when he kills the emperor... then yoda and obi wan (old) with their wisedom and who doesn't love R2D2? yea, i could go on.

Han Solo and Luke Skywalker. I must say I'm more of a fan of the old Star Wars. The new one is great but I feel something is missing.
