    Looking to patent an idea but no idea on where to start.
    Can anyone give me info to start me on my way ?

    When you learn a bit more about the process or the cost (both of making an application and of the ongoing cost of having a patent enforced in all of the various jurisdictions where you want to apply it) you might not be so keen.

    Really you need a patents lawer too, look in the golden pages or just google for one.
