After just watching "Basic" (John Travolta/Samuel L. Jackson film) I couldn't help but think it a bit "samey". i.e. more than a bit like a few films of it's type which have come out over the past few years.
BUT . I have absolutley no idea what happened at the end; what exactly was section 8?

havent seen the film but a section 8 is a nutjob.. or at

least is going to under "evaluation"..

wary of travolta in those shouting/pointing roles..

    worth the watch?

    - I'd say its no classic but its a decent enough no-thinking-required type of film. Much more a fella's film than a girl's. I was v wary of it seeing as Travolta was in it- his recent films are not great - but he's ok in this. Rent , don't buy
