Well, like the title says this is a very poor start to a year from Leinster champions.

IS Micko experimenting a lot, ignoreing the league while setting all his hopes on the championship or was last year simply good luck.
    What do ye think?

[edit] I cant stand the 'e' at the end of Laois ffs

Vader, its the same for all clubs - it seems to me a few counties love the leauge and really go for it - Tryone and limerick spring to mind. But most counties Laois included will use the leauge as a testing ground, wouldnt worry too much laois will be there abouts come summer time. until they meet the Dubs that is .

Oh Please stop! Dublin are getting old and slow, Kildare and Meath are the real threats in leinster.

vader... you may know the dark side....but that is about it. You do make me laugh however.

Kildare and Meath are still the 3rd and 4th ( although I think carlow and wexford could beat Kildare) teams in Lienster although granted Meathare starting to look a little better. Kildare wont amount to anything this year.

Dublin for teh WiN, Laois for the back door !

i hope to god they are using the league for training!! i realise they are missing some players thru injuries but it is still a bad start, especially from a side which is capable of much more.

I reckon you can't read anything into the league expecially so early. Coming towards the end teams will be getting nearer to championship form and it'll tell us more. A good run in the league would be liked by all but is hardly a huge setback if it doesn't happen.

As for Leinster I feel it'll be very close without ever reaching any sort of quality this year. Unfortunately, (as much as it pains me to say it) I wouldn't put it past meath this year. Laois will be interesting but I can't see them doing it. Dublin aren't as good as they think. Ditto for Kildare. Westmeath have a bit of false confidence (not to mention money) now that Paudis training them but I can't see them doing anything overly spectacular this year. Longford and maybe Wexford would be my ones to watch this year in Leinster/All Ireland.

    Watch them do what?:p

Dublin really have been slidding the last few years, yhey need a total shake up. Laois will only improve on last years preformance. Meath and their physical style pose a threat, much like the northern sides. But I think Micko will have a few tricks up his sleeve and I predict another leinster title.

Infact, I'll place a bet with you Alany. Im betting under no circumstances will Dublin be Leinster champions!

you gotta gimmie odds on that bet or else put laois up against Dublin

heres the deal give me 4/1 on dublin winning the Leinster c'ship or

If dublin win the c'ship I win and if Laois take it you win. if neither do it all bets are off

    wadda ya say ?

Ah what it most be like to be employed:o
Laois Vs Dublin €20. Not whoever wins the leinster, but if they meet each other in the championship. I dont want to risk ye getting easy matchs and us getting harder ones. This ways fairer.

    Chicken.....

Vader leave the dark side...come to the southside, we have jobs here and we re not afraid of a simple bet.

Cavan won't win Leinster. Of that I am sure. I'd be pretty sure they won't win Ulster either.
