anybody interested in a band called blindmelon? led by frontman shannon hoon-legend who unfortunately is dead and we all know what from. thats right heroin typical. its a real shame because he was an unbelieveable talent with an incredible voice and amazing lyrics. there are so many songs i could recommend you listen to by them but heres a few

I also have a liking for Blind Melon.But thats because i was given there album.after a few plays of it i began to like them more. my favourite songs would have to be No Rain,time,change ,i wonder.

I found out something new about there songs last week on the blind melon website . I was reading the message board and when I read someone mentioning the secret song before song #1 on the Soup album might be in reverse. I found that to be interesting .Guess what! Ok when you listen to the song the right way it turns out the music is is going the right direction but it turns out the lyrics are going the other way. So when you reverse the song the music starts going the wrong way and the lyrics the right way. So if u have that album try and investgate it yourself. The Song played in reverse is acctually under the mp3 section on the site.The website is as follows: http://www.blindmelon.com/.

thanks for that tip. i shall try it out today when i finish college. yeah same as that
my friends boyfriend was into them and played a few songs and that was it i was hooked.
so hows about mr bungle or primus or sublime jesus i could go on all day

oh.. mr bungle... mmm theyre great! they be goin for ages but loadsa people still dont know them.. i love their theme tunes as well... ren an stimpy, zelda... pink panther heheh!
also check out tomahawk, Fantòmas, peeping tom, and lovage, (the most latter one being hilarious.. check out track 'book of the month..' ) heheh Mike Patton has been a busy man over the years... :cool:

Ive heard of mr bungle but not the primus or sublime.Are they any good?What would u recomend out of them to listen to?What about incubus do u like them?or system of a down or finch.System of a down are one of my favourite bands.I think toxicty album is pure genius.Chop Suey is one of there best songs in my mind what about u?Needles is also cool.

like incubus's older stuff. dont know finch and id have to ecommende out of all of them- all of them. but if not all sublime most definately but then primus are also great and les claypoll is an unbelieveavle bassist too. i couldn't pick a favourite system song theres too many!!

Well did u try that blindmelon song that i was telling u about.the secret song.I agree withu about incubus old school stuff,its better than the new stuff but i advise u to listen to the new album,theres a few decent new tunes on it.Mr bungle stuff is good to listen to but i wouldnt be a big fan of them.mainly because theres so much new and old bands out there.

ya i know what you mean about mr bungle but theres alot of funny memories that goes with listening to them for me so thats my main attachment to them.
have heard incubus's new song and its not bad actually. but they wouldnt be a band id listen to all that often
