I'm thinking of getting Sky+ and I'm wondering if it will be possible to use my FTV card to record ITV, Ch 4 etc by swapping the cards.

not possible. Sky+ recording is part of your subscription and will only work with your subscription card inserted

Thanks Mossy.
I think I'll wait a few months to see if ITV goes free to air at which point some of the other HDD receivers on the market should offer a less expensive and more flexible alternative to Sky+.

Can you stll record ITV through your video if the FTV card is in your sky+ box?
