JFK and Elvis fight Mummy

This is a little gem I found while browsing, unfortunately it doesn't look good for international release (and I dont have broadband), but I think if enough people showed an interest it could get a release here.

The truth about JFK and Elvis.

What really happened is that Elvis switched places with an Elvis impersonator. The Elvis that swelled up and died of a drug overdose was the impersonator, not the real thing. The real Elvis was enjoying his "normal" life in a trailer park, but he lost the papers that proved he was the genuine article in an accident, so he was stuck.

Ossie Davis plays a character that claims he's really John F. Kennedy. Yes, that's right, President JFK. Not even Elvis can believe this one, but he insists that it's a government conspiracy, and that he really didn't die from the bullet that passed through his head. He describes how "they" replaced portions of his brain with bags of sand, and then dyed his skin black!

Now here's proof that the writer was either on drugs or insane or both when he thought of the idea: They have to fight a Mummy!

You see, the Mummy was on tour from Egypt, not the famous King Tut, but one of his lesser important cousins or something. It was stolen in Texas, and the thieves crashed into a lake, and the Mummy crawls out every night seeking souls. Now, the Mummy doesn't just go out and get souls, oh no. It has to suck them out of an orifice, like an ass cavity. That's right, the Mummy sucks souls out of people's butt holes. Remember what I said about drugs and insanity?

Some day Bruce Campbell will get a real film role.

I don't know how he puts himself through the constant indignities of playing roles like, ahem, Elvis or actually accepting piddling cameos in films by his actually successful friend Sam Raimi.

I like the guy... I just wish he had some self-respect.

Because he's.. well.. not a great actor.
In spite of this, he's found his niche, and he's happy with it.

Also.. his role in Bubba Ho-Tep is supposed to be his best role since Ash, so I wouldn't knock this as a particularly bad career choice.

You haven't even seen the film, why don't you reserve judgement until you've *actually* seen it?

Read Bruce's website. I don't think he actually wants to be famous, he just enjoys what he does. He's not into that whole "fame" thing.
