Since we are on the subject of Star Wars, this being a Star Wars thread and all, Who really does the prophecy refer to? Is it Luke by bringing out his father in Darth Vader? Or is it Anakin(Vader) by throwing the Emperor off the balcony?

Who does the prophecy refer to? 0 votes

    Luke Skywalker

If you go by George Lucas, then it refers to Vader, and I tend to agree with him on this tbh.

the prophecy does not refer to Anakin killing the Emperor, it refers to him bringing balance to the force as in becoming one with the force upon "death". It's all to do with the disappearing Jedi, not the killing of the emperor who is only a clone for Darth Sideous (sic)
I vote Anakin - the most powerful Jedi ever

Add a third option there - the correct one. Leia

I reckon the prophecy refers more to when Anakin kills the Emporer. Reason being the Emporer was upsetting the balance of the force, his very presence and the amount of power he had, as well as how powerful his apprentices were, compared to how little Light side power was left in the universe was tilting the scales in the favour of the dark side. With both the Emporer and Vader gone, leaving only a few people struggling with the dark side (i.e. Joruus C'Boath etc.), it was even with Luke and his struggling powers.

Well actually the prophecy refers to leia and Han solo's daugther. In the books from 7-9 the birth of this skywalker is the one who fianally brings balance to the force.

    So nuts to y'all huh

The profecy refers to a person conceived by the force (I may be mistaken about that) in which case its definitly not Luke, Leia or leias daughter

Hrm. I can't actually remember what the prophecy was, but I remember thinking while watching it (assuming this refers to Episode I and II anyway) that the Light Side was actually too strong and Vader would bring balance by making the Dark Side powerful, which they didn't really eggs-pect.

    *me reads previous posts*

Yeah ok I'm probaly talking about the wrong thing here.

Since the profecy refers to someone conceived by the force does that kinda rules out han and leis's child?
