"CONTACT SERVICE" error message on Nokia 3310

Hi,
since last night my mobile phone (Nokia 3310) has gone crazy.
When I switch it on I receive an error message saying "CONTACT SERVICE" and there is nothing I can do to get right of that and access the menu and use the phone.

I tried my sim card on another phone and it is working.
I tried a different sim card on my phone and I still receive te same error message.

So, it has to be something wrong with the phone.....does anybody have any suggestion?

Someone I know had the same problem about a year ago, the only solution was a new phone.

If you search in google for that error message you can see that some people think is a Software problem and they also give solutions

I think there's a shop in Ballymount (just behind TV3 offices) that might do it for you, they do phone unlocks and have their own repair center in the shop, I have no idea what the name is... does anyone know?

I gave up and bought a new phone...quite a good deal, a Nokia 3310 for 99 Euro includind 60 Euro credit.... no bother to repair the old one.
