I tried to connect to the internet on my computer at home yesterday.

It connected but instantly disconnected again.

    It said:

    "Reinstall Diall Up Networking Files."

Any ideas as to how i do that?

    :(

    What OS is it?

You'll need your windows installation disk.

The ms link will do it under any situation. If it said reinstall dial up networking though? I've never seen that message. Have you virus scanned the system lately?

If you do need to reinstall though, I've found it alot easier just to go into windows setup and remove the tick in dial up networking, press ok and dont reboot. Next go to networking on the control panel (win98 only) and remove anything thats in there. Dont reboot. Now go back to windows setup and retick dial up networking and let itstall and then reboot twice.
Never had a problem with that method on any system
