Buy a video sender from Argos or www.satellite.ie or your favorite high street shop.

They work on sound only or sound + video. If you get a pair of RCA to mini jack they will even drive walkman headphones with volume control in the cable direct.

Prices EUR 60 to EUR 150 depending on features.

All have reverse IR remote transmission (bring the VHS/DVD/NTL remote upstairs and it work too)

Why have you posted in Satellite?

You do realise that a video sender will transmit only one channel at a time and you need a vcr, dvd, digital box or some other equipment to input the signal into the video sender. It will not allow the tv to tune in any channel independently.

Thats fine, as long as the device relays the remote control signals to the VCR as well, i.e. I can change the channel in the other room.
