Hyper Threading

Just got a new P4 2.8 with HT and the MB (MSI 648F) says it supports it on the box. I installed Linux and the SMP kernel is there and I can see the two processors in the Information dialog.

But the option to enable/disable hyperthreading doesn't show up in the BIOS like it says it should in the manual.

Is it really working? Is there any way to test it out?

maybe it needs a BIOS update?
Although you'd think it would have the right one out of the box.

there is usually a combination of keys to press to access the advanced features on a MB bios, have a look in the manual or try Ctrl + F1 to F12 see if anything happens.

    Thanks joePC
