    Hey,

I sent in my CV into a large corportation last week and realised today that i never did a spell check on it. So i dived into my sent items and hey presto there were a couple of errors.

Yes yes i can hear you saying it, what an idiot!

So i'm wondering what would happen on the other end. I obviously go no reply and am not expecting one. But would the HR person scanning the CV's simply delete mine and keep moving or will it be kept on record with MUPPET in big letters beside it on file.

What i'm thinking is that i leave it a week maybe and then resend my CV minus the mistakes.. If i'm lucky the'll have deleted the previous mail and i'll be good to go.

    Whadda think?

Did you send it to a specific person in the company? If you did then just spellcheck it and resend it with a quick note saying this is your revised CV.
If you sent it to some generic email address, cv@xx.com, hr@xx.com or something, then you may as well do the same really, there's a chance they might replace the wrong cv with the correct one.

Sorry i forgot to mention, it was the cover letter that had the spelling errors not the actual CV. And yeah, it was a HR@whatever.com that i sent it to not a specific person.

I think i'll resend it later in the week and sure whatever happens, happens.
