Moving House

I am in the process of moving house. The chap I am buying the house from has a sky +.

To save me hassle I have suggested that he leaves his dish up and I will give him mine, when I take it down so he can take it with him to his spanking new house.

What I need to know is -- I assume my Sky Digital Box will still work with his dish and there is no special compatibilty thing going on?

Well yours will work fine with his, but if you only have a single LNB he won't be able to use Sky+, it requires a quad lnb.

Assumed correctly. His probably has a quad LNB on it though, which he may want to take with him.

The LNBs just unclip. There might be a plastic pin to push out.

    Thanks

So much for that............Is it a messy job to swap LNB's? or is it advisable?

It should not be messy, it just unclips from arm. You shouldn't even need to undo anything.
