Help make dvd recorder multi region

Im just after buying a Sony RDR-GX3. Now I told the guy in store that I wanted a multi region dvd recorder . He told me that GX3 wasnt multi region but there were hack codes for it. So I decided to go with it. Ive searched the web and found nada. Anyone out there know where I can get the hack code?

Unless you have a IRDA port on your desktop, you may find it easier to use a laptop. Good luck.
