Some Meshuggah is always good, I'd recommend Destry Erase Improve, also Nothing their last album was brilliant IMO.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 66 ✭✭girella

well i dont really like stained but thats fair enough if you do. thanks for replying and is there anything on the list you are particularly interested in?
    my fave jeff songs are
dream brother satisfied mind(even though its not his originally)grace, dinks song, witches rave hallelujah, the way young lovers do
you know there are actually too many to mention them all i just absolutely love him.
girella what a stupid name would you agree. this italian guy i know just started calling me that and it stuck but in actual fact my real nick-name is doobie!
my uncle called me that since i was three
    little does he know...........!
i dont know why i said that as its irrelevant but maybe i dont know
    have to go
    nice talking again
    have a good one!

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 573 ✭✭✭The jock

hi ,girella or should i call u doobie.while on the topic of nicknames ive always been called billy, hence billy the kid.my cousin called me that when i was 5 because i was always goin around dressed up as a cowboy with those plastic guns.my cousin hasn't stop calling me that ever since or maybe he just forgot my name.anyway all thoughts aside i acctually do like a couple of other albums on that list including system of a down ,the doors, jeff buckley-grace.i agree with you about JB 's song the way young lovers do ,that was a classic.but what can i say ,every song of his was great.

Nice talking with ya but i got a go
    stay tuned

good to hear from someone with a bit of taste and glad you like them. yeah
anything by jeff is pretty much guaranteed to satisfy my needs is terms of music.
i could talk about my musicians all day but unfortunately it sometimes makes me sad to think that most of them are either dead or are never planning on coming to ireland which i think sucks to the full extent.
    agree? anyone?
what about the fans like? i thought it was all about the fans. damnit im pissed now
    right gotta go
    see ye later my peeps

    deftones - white pony

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 573 ✭✭✭The jock

I agree with to to the fullest about great band members being dead. Some of the best that have passed on have been,Kurt Cobain,Cliff Burton ,Shannon Hoon,Jeff Buckley.I could go on and on but i won't.But it is about the fans, as we are the people that keep them going in life, buying their records and merchandise, goin to there gigs and so on.Without us, the life long fans they would'nt exist. I tottally agree with u about bands who dont give a f**k about giging in ireland. That just sucks1!

    Arrivederci

Girella, what where the top three all time gigs that u went to?I suppose my top three all time would have to be, Metallica, linkin park and maybe Feeder. But i havent really been to very many concerts. What would be you top 5 favourite never seen gigs?Mine would have to be >Mettalica with cliff burton, Jeff buckley, Blindmelon, Incubus and Finch. At least theres still hope for me as 3 of those bands are still around, but they wont probally ever play in Ireland. And finally, What Band would u least like to see?to me that would have to be any boyband or pop bands out there.

    Good luck!
