Is there any way to turn off XP's liking for trying to send error reports whenever a program crashes or you force it to shut.

Start -> Programs -> Administrative Tools -> Services

Scroll down to Error Reporting Service, right click it and select properties and stop it. You can change it to manual startup or disable it completely.

I think that should do it.

Thanks a million. I immensely dislike the idea of Microsoft finding out any more about me and my PC than I want them to know.
