    I uninstalled Disk keeper and now Windows xp tells me I haven't got a defragmentation program installed, how do I put it back on from the xp disc : /

    you should find windows defrag in the system32 folder inside your windows directory the file is called 'DFRG.MSC'. double click it and if you're luck it will re-register itself, but if not you can create a shortcut to it and click on it and it should run the windows defrag app.

    or you can just go to start, run and type dfrg.msc

    probably.

    oh, and 1000 posts for me. which apparently means I have no life!
