Ok, this applies to Dublin, maybe you guys can add some more towns.

There's a nice new Italian wine bar on the north side of the Liffey, down from Pravda. Don't know the name, but it's right at the end of the Millennium Bridge, go down that new alleyway and it's on the left across from the Cafe. Reasonable prices on wine, from 9 yoyos all the way up, and 2 decent sets - one standard size, one large (~3ft X 3ft).

Another of my favourites is Grogans (also signed as "Castle Lounge on the outside). One of the best pints of Guinness in the city, and they have a couple of sets. No tv or radio - real old style pub - hope it never changes. Great ham and cheese toasties too :) It's on South William St, or at the west entrance to the Powerscourt Centre (near Grafton St.)
