Performing at the Sidewalk Cafe (Cathal Brugha St), February 11th:

AUGUSTINE - a new dublin 4-piece, sound a little bit like tindersticks or the red house painters

THE MARSHAL STARS - raw blues-styled rock, full of explosive guitar hooks

BUSINESS - 'robot rock' of the highest order, melodic, danceable and unpredictable

All proceeds go to the Dublin Simon Community

    Cover charge: €6
    First band on: 8pm

I'll try and get some MP3s of each act online soon...

I feel I must point out to anybody who is a big Painters fan that the only comparison is that they write slow songs. No insult intended, its just that I saw them recently and they don't sound like them besides that. Probably still worth a look though.

    Marshal Stars rock good!
